Carter/Poulsen a Modern Classic

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

After several exciting months the partnership of Willie Carter and Eric Poulsen is ready to debut as Carter/Poulsen Guitars. We are extremely excited about sharing our new approach to building a musical instrument combining traditional and modern building techniques.

Our shared passion for the steel string acoustic guitar has taken the two of us on an amazing journey. Both of us spent years building guitars in solitary shops. Over time it became apparent that as a team we could be much more creative, efficient and able to implement more of the ideas that we both had envisioned over the years.

We now present to the world our concept of world class musical instruments under the name of Carter/Poulsen Guitars. Please explore and enjoy our site as we unveil our creations with many exciting developments to come. Beautiful tools for musicians to play music, truly a modern classic.
